Under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we at Ekoteknoloji Elektronik Geri Dönüşüm A.Ş. ("Ekoteknoloji" or the "Company") attach great importance to protecting your personal data. This notice has been prepared to inform you about how your personal data is processed.
1. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

- Preparing and presenting quotes for buying electronic waste and silver
- Communicating with you via WhatsApp and phone
- Preparing price quotes based on photos and inventory information
- Managing delivery and payment processes
- Carrying out invoicing and accounting
- Providing data destruction services (for the industrial segment)
- Managing customer relations and improving service quality
- Measuring and improving the use of the website

3. LEGAL GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING
Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK:
- KVKK Article 5(1): explicit consent (for analytics cookies only)
- KVKK Article 5(2)(c): processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract
- KVKK Article 5(2)(ç): processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations
- KVKK Article 5(2)(f): processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms
4. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

For courier and delivery services
Accounting and financial advisory
For invoicing and accounting
Software and technology service providers
For website hosting (Cloudflare), email (Google Workspace) and website analytics (Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics)

To public authorities and institutions as required by the applicable legislation

5. HOW PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED
Your personal data is collected through the following channels:
- Automatically while you visit the website (analytics measurement and cookie preference)
- Messages and photos sent via WhatsApp
- Phone calls
- Face-to-face meetings and during delivery
6. RETENTION PERIOD
Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires, taking statutory retention periods into account (for example, 10 years for accounting records).
When the purpose of processing ends or the retention period expires, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. COOKIES
Non-essential analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used on our website only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner, on the basis of your explicit consent and with your IP address anonymised. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page; your choice is stored only in your browser.
Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies; it measures page visits in aggregate and relies on our legitimate interest (KVKK Article 5(2)(f)).
8. YOUR RIGHTS (KVKK ARTICLE 11)
Under the KVKK you have the right to:
1. Right to be informed: learn whether your personal data is being processed
2. Right to request information: request information about the processing if it has taken place
3. Right to know the purpose: learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
4. Right to know about transfers: know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred
5. Right to rectification: request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate
6. Right to erasure or destruction: request deletion or destruction of the data under the conditions set out in the KVKK
7. Right to notification: request that rectification, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
8. Right to object: object to an outcome against you that arises from analysis of the data exclusively by automated systems
9. Right to compensation: claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing

You can submit requests concerning the protection of your personal data, together with documents proving your identity, through the following channels:
